Happy 4th

He applauded everyone in the parade
Thought it was funny this guy didn't stay in character very well.
My fourth of July standards are pretty high. Growing up we always celebrated Independence Day with my grandparents in Cedar City. They have a parade and carnival and a fireworks show. It was always so much fun. Since we couldn't make the trip to be with them this year I was determined to find something nearby that would be similar. So after lots and lots of research I found a small town nearby that seemed to have all the right celebratory plans.
It was so perfect. The parade had all of Rocky's favorite things trains, tractors, fire trucks, and horses. He got the biggest kick out of smiling, waving and clapping for all the passers. Afterward they had amazing food trucks live music and vendors by the river. Jess, Glen and Remi met us down by the river for some good food and river rock throwing. I was definitely missing my grandparents but at least we now have a backup plan when we can't make it to their town.
