Finally made it on the Witch's Castle hike in Forest Park. There are tons of beautiful trails here and it is also home to the Audubon so we can check out all the rescued birds.
The Witch's Castle is rumored to be haunted. There were a couple of feuding families that settled nearby in the mid 1800's. There were murders and jailbreaks and hangings. So the area has been said to be haunted ever since. There was even a witch coven that moved into this stone building hence the name.
We didn't experience any paranormal activity. But, we did have a really great hike.
