Pumpkin Patch

He found his perfect pumpkin

Oh my goodness, how I love this boy

Just when we think last year's pumpkin patch cannot be topped we find an even better one. This one started out with a lesson in how the wheat farming process works and Rocky was listening intently to every word (I think because they were demonstrating with toy tractors;). Then we hopped aboard a train that goes through a tunnel and takes us out to the pumpkin patch. There are wheelbarrows to push, hay mazes to run through and hay bales to jump off of. Then once you pick your pumpkins you board a ferry boat that takes you through the lake. There are sea monsters that pop out, pirates boats to pass by and a giant shark that jumps out near the end. It is honestly like they asked my 5 year old boy what they should include at the pumpkin patch it was all things little boys dreams are made of. Needless to say we had the best time and went home with two perfect pumpkins to carve.
