We just had family leave town and we weren't sure what to do to celebrate the 4th. Last minute we decided to head to the coast. We were off to a rocky start. Apparently everyone in the nearby vicinity had the same idea and we were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for over two hours. Then when we arrived we tried to find a place to eat and as we were walking around we were noticing no traffic lights were working and there weren't a lot of places open. Come to find out there had been a wreck that had taken out all the power to the whole area. We found a pizza place that thankfully uses a coal oven so we grabbed our pizza and headed for the beach. It was super crowded but we had a great spot and had fun waiting for the fireworks to start. The show was awesome and Little Rock oooed and awed over every single one. We may not make this a tradition but we still had a great time.
