Sweet treat for a sweet boy
Working out with the boys
We have been watching a lot of football games (Ok Rock isn't doing a lot of watching but he has a great cheer...."GO JAKEY GO!!)
Hanging out at our local farm (we dream up excuses to go there:)
So, I guess I should have titled this post a day in the life since this is pretty much our day to day happenings. Please excuse the personal unload but, I have just been feeling so overwhelmingly grateful lately.

I guess I had put out of my mind all the little things I was looking forward to in becoming a mother throughout the years of it "not happening". Lately all the little things have made me feel so blessed. Tripping over legos in the hallway, My boy running away from me in super hero undies (we have successfully mastered potty training yea!!!:)  when I try to convince him that we need to wear clothes, the airplane, car, and truck noises he makes while playing, His copying every little thing we do and say (really makes you think twice:), I mean so many things like this have been making me so unbelievably grateful. I just love being his mom. I know I have the years of longing and childless heartbreak to thank for enjoying motherhood so much. But, I also know that most of it is Little Rocky. I feel so strongly that we had to wait so long so we would fully appreciate this extra special boy. I know that he was meant for us and us for him. And I would wait all over again for him.
