Camping Part 2

So apparently Little Rocky takes after his dad in the way of needing to climb into every rock crevice (see photographic evidence below:)
Oregon 2009
We meet Daddy at the top of the canyon just in time to catch one of the most breathtaking sunsets I've ever experienced
Obviously Rock is super excited to see him poor guy was stuck with only me all day:)
The next day of camping, when it was time for Daddy to go work I asked him to just drop Rock and I off at a nearby park. So he consulted his phone as to where the nearest park was and she, (Siri), found a state park about 5 minutes from where we were. Knowing nothing about the park we pulled up to the base of some mountains (after driving into what seemed like the middle of nowhere). Once we got out of the car we were greeted by a gorgeous canyon with a river running through the bottom. I mean what a happy accident to stumble upon such an amazing sight. I was super excited to get to the bottom.

Little Rock and I headed into the canyon and Rocky went off to work. We spent the entire day hiking, swimming and watching the rock climbers. Little Rock had about 3 outfit changes from all of his water and dirt activities luckily I'm not a light packer. When we started to run low on clothes I just sent him into the water naked which of course is his favorite way to be. He gave a large group of hikers walking by a show. He turns around waves and says hello and when they all start laughing and waving he proceeds to do his best gorilla impression. With lots of chest pounding and growling. They got the biggest kick out of him. I got to tell you this Little Man of mine has really brought me out of my shell. He smiles and waves and talks to everyone we meet. So, that means I end up smiling, waving, and talking to everyone we meet too.
