8 Months Old

I cannot believe our baby is 8 months old. I love him so much and love being his mommy. I don't think it is possible to put into words how much this little guy means to us and how happy he makes us. I think Rocky said it best the other day..."It's like Christmas everyday!".

Here are a few of our favorite things he is doing right now:

* He loves to cuddle! He is very independent and adventurous always exploring and looking for new things to get into, he knows just what to do when he needs a cuddle. He crawls over to either one of us, we sit down, he uses our hands to pull himself up to standing, he wraps his arms around our neck, and then lays his head on our shoulder for several minutes. It is the sweetest thing in the entire world and I hope he continues this FOREVER:) My eyes still fill up each time it is so precious.

* He loves to walk with us. He is wanting to walk now when we hold onto his little hands. He does a great job too except when he decides to look up at us to make sure we are watching him. He gets the biggest smile on his face like "Hey guys are you seeing what I can do?!". The walking pretty much stops there (a little hard to balance when you are staring straight up) but

so adorable!

* He holds his toys in his mouth. I think there have been other pics of this (he has been doing it for awhile) but, he will put his stuffed animals in his mouth and crawl around with them just hanging there. He tried to do it with his huge giraffe and he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come along for the ride:)

* He knows how to work it! Every time we go to the grocery store he gets sooooooo much attention from all the ladies there. We go to Sprouts near Sun City (retirement community) so, there are lots of little old ladies around. He can be getting a little tired and fussy with me but, the second one of them notices him and says hello he is grinning from ear to ear, talking to them and just putting on the cutest show! HILARIOUS! On Thursday he literally had 4 ladies surrounding him and watching him work his magic.

* He is obsessed with blowing raspberries and does it at the best moments. Like Daddy will say Hey Buddy I missed you - cue raspberries, or things will be quiet for a couple minutes - cue raspberries. His timing is awesome.

* He is super good at finding his own way to communicate with us. When he is playing and he gets tired he will put his head on our leg.
