I have been thinking about doing this post for awhile now but I keep putting it off because I know I am going to get mushy so, I apologize in advance:)
Rocky celebrated his 30th birthday while we were in Ohio meeting our sons birthmother. I know we didn't really get to celebrate since so much happened while we were away but, he received the greatest gift ever so he has no complaints.
I always knew that Rocky and I had a great marriage, not perfect but truly great. We love being together and are best friends. Who could ask for more. I really didn't think that I could love him anymore than I already did. Until he became a daddy and now I have fallen in love with him all over again in new ways as he embraces this new role. He is such an amazing father. He loves his boy so much you can see it all over his face.
I catch him all the time just lying beside Little Rocky and watching him sleep. He reads to him and let me tell you my husband hates reading. He is constantly searching the internet to make sure the slightest hiccup is normal. I literally have to beg to hold our son whenever he is home and anytime he doesn't have to wake up early he gets up at night with him. I am so lucky!
Who would have thought two teenagers getting married so young would have made it this far and still be laughing their heads off together. I love being married to this man!

That is so sweet. You really are a great couple. He is a good daddy. You are an awesome mom though, too. Rocky 5 is really lucky! Oh yeah he has a pretty cool aunt too.

ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet!(sniff sniff yes I had tears) You both are the cutest couple ever and are very lucky to have a tight love and bond for eachother. Its is so fun to be around you both (now 3) because you are always happy and so much fun. I am so HAPPY for you both and the new little man in the family! Rocky did get the best birthday gift ever...his son! Congrats to Mommy Stacey and Daddy Rocky...little man Rockford is lucky to have you both! PERFECT family of "3"
